What are Backlinks?

A backlink is any link received by a web page (website, web directory, top level domain) from another web page or directory accordingly.
Backlinks, also known as inbound links, incoming links,  inlinks, and inward links.


What make Backlinks so important?

Search engines take a good look at the number of quality backlinks a web page has thereby helping them to rank some web pages above others in results.
If you own a website or some sort of page that require visitors from search engines to juice it up, backlinks are very useful for you. To get traffic from the search engine, your website must have backlinks. There is widely used expression within the world of SEO "content is king". Inbound links will make your site appear about the fist pages with the search queries hence increasing your site's visibility. To succeed, you will need to learn the art of self- promotion.

A good tactic is writing creative articles which might be appealing to the user which becomes "link bait. You get it? 
Ensure your backlinks are placed on relevant sites so as not to look spammy.

However, I still advice you do manual submissions to top websites as they are considered genuine.
